George currently serves on the board of public company Edgewell Personal Care (NYSE:EPC), and he advises multiple Boards, founders, and CEOs on innovation, transformation, leading internal change, and AI.
As a former operating executive in the travel, consumer goods, technology, food, pet care, and hospitality sectors, George has led through conditions ranging from startup, hypergrowth, merger integrations, maturation, and operating model reinvention. His ‘power alley’ is detecting early signals of consumer and industry shifts, then re-architecting customer experiences & business models with transformative technologies to deliver billions in new growth. As Chief Digital Officer at Marriott International, George transformed a mature, analog business model into a digitally-powered global growth engine delivering $14 billion/yr (+58% CAGR), representing 32% of Marriott’s total revenue.
George has been a part of three startups, most recently, he was COO of a Silicon Valley AI-based tech startup. As a Venture Partner at NextGen Ventures, George vets promising new technology players to find the ‘next big thing,’ and he actively mentors founders of new AI & digital platforms.
George is a top-rated speaker on Board governance amid disruption and market upheaval.
